Die Buxtehuder Heide wird vorgestellt als Austragungsort des berühmt gewordenen Wettlaufs zwischen dem Hasen und dem Igel. Bei den Ausgrabungen eines Sachsenfriedhofs der Völkerwanderungszeit stoßen die Archäologen auf einen alten, verfüllten Fuchsbau, aus dem sie einen sensationellen Fund zutage fördern. Ein interdisziplinäres Expertenteam wertet die Fundstücke aus. Im Zentrum der Diskussion steht die im Fuchsbau wiedergefundene Branntweinflasche, die beim Wettlauf zwischen dem Hasen und dem Igel als Preis ausgesetzt war.
The spirits bottle of Buxtehuder Heath Fiktiver
Buxtehuder Heath is presented as the place where the legendary race between the hare and the hedgehog took place. During the excavation of a Saxon burial ground dating back to the time of the migration of peoples, archaeologists stumble across an old, earth-filled fox’s den, where they unearth a sensational finding. An international team of experts evaluate the findings. Discussions centre on the spirits bottle found in the fox’s den, which to all accounts was the prize awarded in the race between the hare and the hedgehog.
