FILMFESTSPEZIAL erscheint monatlich und bespricht Arthouse-Filme, die aktuell in den Kinos starten oder als DVD und Video-on-Demand erscheinen. Das Team von FILMFESTSPEZIAL war in 2020 außerdem auf der Berlinale, dem Filmfest Oldenburg und dem Unabhängigen Filmfest Osnabrück unterwegs. Dabei hat es einen Blick hinter die Kulissen geworfen und RegisseurInnen, ProduzentInnen und SchauspielerInnen interviewt. In 2020 waren das u. a. Faraz Shariat (FUTUR DREI), Michael Venus und Thomas Friedrich (SCHLAF), Massoud Bakshi (YALDA), Johannes Naber (CURVEBALL). Last but not least gab es wieder den FILMFESTSPEZIAL-Kurzfilmwettbewerb, dessen GewinnerInnen Linda Matern (DOROTHCKA), Yannick Rietsch (WAS GESCHAH AM 23. AUGUST) und Maurice Tacke (VOLL NACH PLAN) in einer Sendung präsentiert wurden.

Film festival special 2020: the Arthouse film magazine

“FILMFESTSPEZIAL” appears monthly and discusses Arthouse films which are currently being launched in the cinemas or are offered on DVD and Video-on-Demand. In 2020, the “FILMFESTSPEZIAL” team also participated in the Berlinale, the Oldenburg Film Festival and the Independent Film Festival of Osnabrück. This enabled them to take a look behind the scenes and interview directors, producers, actors and actresses. In 2020, these included among others Faraz Shariat (“FUTUR DREI”), Michael Venus and Thomas Friedrich (“SCHLAF”), Massoud Bakshi (YALDA) and Johannes Naber (CURVEBALL). Last but not least, the “FILMFESTSPEZIAL” short film competition was again staged this year. The winners, Linda Matern (DOROTHCKA), Yannick Rietsch (“WAS GESCHAH AM 23. AUGUST”) and Maurice Tacke (“VOLL NACH PLAN”), were presented in a separate programme.
