Myth of Qatar − a desert state of contrasts

Qatar! For many people this is a corrupt, super-rich emirate with dubious machinations. And indeed, many aspects of the system here are questionable and undemocratic because Qatar is an absolute monarchy headed by the Emir. About 2.2 million migrant workers bear the brunt of the load when it comes to the advancement of this country. Their destinies cast a completely different light on the glamour of the emirate.

At the same time, however, the emirate has one of the best education systems in the gulf region and an exemplary health system. The documentary portrays this desert state of contrasts.
