Bremen im Jahr 2000: Victoria ist im Krankenhaus aus dem Koma erwacht und hat ihr Gedächtnis verloren. Sie erinnert sich nur an ihren eigenen Namen. Ihr Ehemann Cam ist ein Fremder für sie. Cam erklärt ihr, dass sie einen Autounfall hatte. Wieder zu Hause beginnt sie, ein Buch mit dem Titel „Sommer ‘89“ zu lesen. Sie hat das Gefühl, Teil der Geschichte des Buches zu sein, kann sich aber nicht erklären, warum.
Victoria begibt sich auf eine Reise in ihre Vergangenheit, bei der sie am Ende alles versteht, aber noch einmal großen Schmerz erleben wird.
Victoria - Summer of ‘89
Bremen in the year 2000: Victoria has woken up from a coma in hospital and has lost her memory. She only remembers her own name. Her husband Cam is a stranger to her. Cam explains to her that she had a car accident. Back home, she starts reading a book called “Summer of ’89”. She feels as if she is part of the book’s story, but can’t explain why.
Victoria embarks on a journey into her past. In doing so, she understands everything at the end, but is forced to experience great pain all over again.
