Der elfjährige Außenseiter Martin lässt sich nur widerwillig dazu überreden, mit seinem Stiefbruder und dessen Freunden ins Ferienlager in den Wald zu fahren. Martin hält nicht viel von Campen und Abenteuern in der Wildnis − viel lieber würde er seine Zeit vor dem Computer verbringen.

Doch als er auf geheimnisvolle Waldgeister trifft, beginnt die Natur ihn zu faszinieren. Der Lebensraum der kleinen Kreaturen wird jedoch durch eine Baustelle bedroht. Martin muss all seinen Mut zusammennehmen und seine Ängste überwinden, um den Waldgeistern zu helfen.

Martin and the secret of the forest

The adventurous story of the eleven year-old city boy Martin, who reluctantly agrees to spend his holidays in a summer camp together with his step-brother and a group of kids he’s never met before. Martin is not keen on nature and would much rather spend his time in front of a computer instead of in the middle of a forest devoid of all the usual home comforts and technology.

But when Martin encounters mysterious forest spirits, he becomes fascinated with nature. He realizes that the habitat of the small creatures is threatened by a nearby drilling site and has to summon up his courage and overcome his fears in order to help the forest spirits and save the forest.
