Sie sind eine Mischung aus Altem Land und bayrischer Bergwelt: die Japanischen Alpen. In diesem Spannungsfeld aus Extremwinter und Frühlingsidyll spielt unser Film. Wir begleiten den Straßenmeister Takashi Obara und andere Einheimische in ihrem abenteuerlichen Alltag. Takashi führt uns mit seinem Netzwerk aus Kollegen und Freunden in die wunderschöne japanische Berg- und Talwelt - mit lauter Parallelen zu Deutschland.
Where Japan yodels
They are a mixture between the “Alte Land” and the mountains of Bavaria: the Japanese Alps. Our film portrays the interplay between extreme winter and spring idyll. We accompany the road maintenance engineer Takashi Obara and other locals in their adventurous everyday life. Together with his network of colleagues and friends, Takashi takes us to the wonderful Japanese world of mountains and valleys - similar in many ways to Germany.
