Alle drei sind Künstler einer Bewegung, die seit Ende der 50er Jahre das Bild der Welt revolutionierte. 1962 wurde im Wiesbadener Museum vor Publikum ein Konzertflügel zerlegt. Dieser Tabubruch war der öffentliche Markstein für eine Kunstrichtung: Fluxus. Eine Bewegung als Lebensform, die Kunst und Leben zusammenführt.

Der Film beschreibt die Aktualität dieser künstlerischen Haltung und zeichnet den Wirkungskreis ihrer Protagonisten nach. Ein Film über eine internationale Künstlergeneration, die noch im hohen Alter mit Witz und Klarheit spielerisch und anarchisch Stellung bezieht.

All three are artists belonging to a movement that has revolutionised the view of the world since the end of the 50’s. In 1962 a concert piano was taken to pieces in front of an audience in the museum of Wiesbaden. This breaking of a taboo was the public milestone of a new art form: Fluxus. A movement representing a life form bringing art and life together.

The film describes the topicality of this artistic stance and traces the sphere of activity of its protagonists. A film about an international generation of artists, who, even at a ripe age, express their opinions with humour and clarity in a playful and anarchic way.
