FOCUS Germany, der Zusammenschluss der neun größten deutschen Länderförderungen, lud heute im Rahmen der 78. Filmfestspiele in Cannes zum traditionellen Coproduction Breakfast ein.

Mit Spanien als diesjährigem Partnerland stand die Veranstaltung ganz im Zeichen des deutsch-spanischen Austauschs. Produzent:innen, Filmschaffende und Branchenmitglieder beider Länder trafen sich am German Pavillon, um sich zu vernetzen und Kooperationsmöglichkeiten auszuloten. Partner waren in diesem Jahr die Spain Film Commission sowie das Instituto de la Cinematografía y de las Artes Audiovisuales. 

Das Coproduction Breakfast findet jedes Jahr mit einem wechselnden Partnerland statt und wird von German Films und FOCUS Germany organisiert.

FOCUS Germany Hosts Coproduction Breakfast 2025 at 78th Festival de Cannes: “Focus Germany meets Spain”
FOCUS Germany, the alliance of the nine largest German regional film funds, hosted its annual Coproduction Breakfast today during the 78th Festival de Cannes.
This year’s edition welcomed Spain as the official partner country. Producers, creatives and filmmakers from both nations gathered at the German Pavilion to connect and explore opportunities for coproduction and collaboration. This year’s partners were the Spain Film Commission and the Instituto de la Cinematografía y de las Artes Audiovisuals’.
The Coproduction Breakfast is held each year with a different country or partner region. The German Pavilion is jointly organised by German Films and FOCUS Germany.
