Sechs Schicksale - eine Gemeinsamkeit: Manuela M., Tino K., Hamed H., Sven Z., Pamela M. und Christoph S. wurde ein Bein amputiert. Alle tragen eine Beinprothese, mit deren Hilfe sich ihr Leben grundlegend veränderte. Der Film erzählt ihre persönlichen Geschichten, von ihren Wandlungen und Hoffnungen, aber auch von den Möglichkeiten des modernen, computergesteuerten C-Leg, dem sogenannten „intelligenten Bein“. Es wurde von der Duderstädter Firma Otto Bock Health Care GmbH unter Mithilfe von Sven Z. entwickelt. Sein Weg und der der anderen macht deutlich, dass sich ein tragisches Schicksal auch zu einem Vorteil für die persönliche und berufliche Entwicklung wandeln kann.
Standing on your own two feet
Six destinies - one thing in common: Manuela M., Tino K., Hamed H., Sven Z., Pamela M. and Christoph S. have all had a leg amputated. They all wear a leg prosthesis which fundamentally changed their lives. The film not only tells of their personal stories, vicissitudes and hopes, but also of the possibilities offered by the modern computer-controlled C-Leg, or so-called “intelligent leg”. This was developed by the Duderstadt company Otto Bock Health Care GmbH with the assistance of Sven Z.. His path, and that of the others, make clear that a tragic blow of fate may also turn out to be an advantage for a person’s personal and professional development.
