Der Dokumentarfilm stellt eine Gruppe von Online-Aktivist:innen vor, die in den sozialen Medien gegen alternative Fakten vorgehen.Wir hören vom Lehrer B, der mit seinen Schüler:innen zu dem Schluss gekommen ist, dass die Stärkung von Frauenrechten ein Game Changer ist, wenn es darum geht, die Klimakrise anzugehen. Und von Andy, der die Lebensversicherung seines verstorbenen Sohnes an Bildungsprojekte gespendet hat. Sowie von Chris und Marianna, die regelmäßig Morddrohungen erhalten, weil sie sich für den Schutz des Ökosystems des Rio Grande einsetzen und sich gegen die Mauer stellen, die nach wie vor an der mexikanischen Grenze gebaut wird. Außerdem von Daniela, einer Juraprofessorin, die sich aktiv für Frauenrechte einsetzt, und von Gerald, der eine düstere Warnung ausspricht, was passiert, wenn wir uns der Propaganda nicht in den Weg stellen.

This documentary film follows the exploits of a select group of online activists who tackle science deniers and trolls on social media. We hear from B, an educator, who found that female empowerment was, in fact, a game changer when it came to tackling the climate crisis. And from Andy, who donated the money he received from his late son's life insurance to educational projects. As well as from Chris and Marianna, who regularly receive death threats as they work to protect the eco system in and around the Rio Grande and oppose the wall being built on the Mexican border. Also from Daniela, a law professor who actively supports women's rights, and from Gerald, founder of Climate Brawl, who issues a dire warning about letting propaganda go unchallenged.
