Djindjic hatte Charisma, Eloquenz und Mut, begeisterte mit seinem jugendlichen Charme viele Menschen in Serbien wie im europäischen Ausland. Heute wird er oft als der „JFK des Balkans“ bezeichnet. The film honours the achievements of the opposition politician and statesman, Zoran Djindjic, who lived as a dissident in self-imposed exile, became the first non-communist prime minister of Serbia, and was finally assassinated on the 12th of March 2003 in Belgrade.

Djindjic possessed charisma, eloquence and courage, and enthused many people in Serbia and the rest of Europe by virtue of his youthful charm. Today, he is often described as the „JFK of the Balkans“. Is this description appropriate? What did Djindjic achieve? How did he change his country and its inhabitants? And why was he murdered?
