Die Dokumentationsreihe SCHÖNES LANDLEBEN XXL erzählt Geschichten von Familien in Norddeutschland, die ihr Glück, ihre Zukunft und ihren Lebensinhalt in der Landwirtschaft gefunden haben. Im Mittelpunkt steht das wahre Hofleben mit all seinen Ecken und Kanten, mit all seinen Schwierigkeiten in der heutigen Zeit, aber auch mit all seinen Schönheiten, die das bäuerliche Leben zu bieten hat.

Bei SCHÖNES LANDLEBEN XXL stehen Landfamilien und ihre Nachbarschaft im Mittelpunkt. Ziel der Reihe ist es, den „Sehnsuchtsraum Land“ zu erkunden und die Besonderheiten und Attraktionen des ländlichen Lebens sicht- und nachvollziehbar zu machen. Die Reihe möchte dabei keine oberflächlichen Klischees transportieren, sondern die im Alltag der Bewohner vorhandenen Grenzen des ländlich-dörflichen Idylls zeigen.
 

Wonderful country life XXL

The documentary series “SCHÖNES LANDLEBEN XXL” tells stories about families in North Germany who have found their happiness, their future and their purpose in life in agriculture. The central theme is everyday life on the farm with all its corners and edges and all the difficulties faced in present-day times, but also with all the wonderful things that farm life has to offer.

“SCHÖNES LANDLEBEN XXL” focusses on country families and their neighbourhoods. The aim of the series is to take a closer look at a “longing for the country environment” and to make the special features and attractions of country life more transparent and comprehensible. The series is not intended to convey superficial clichés, but rather to portray the limitations of the rural and village idyll that country dwellers face in everyday life.
