In einer postapokalyptischen Welt im Jahr 2118 steht ein monumentaler Wolkenkratzer, die Factory, in der Zwangsarbeiter:innen emotionslos vor sich hin schuften. Mia, eine rebellische Arbeiterin, verguckt sich in Juri, der seine Außenwelt kaum wahrnimmt. Eines Tages entdeckt Mia eine zauberhafte Spieluhr, die vergessene Emotionen weckt und die Arbeiter:innen zum Tanzen verführt.
Mia und Juri fliehen in die oberste Etage, wo sie eine Welt des Überflusses und der Dekadenz entdecken. Auf dem Dach erleben sie einen letzten gemeinsamen Tanz, bevor sie mit den Ordnungshüter:innen der Factory konfrontiert werden, die entschlossen sind, jeden Aufstand zu beenden.
In a post-apocalyptic world in the year 2118, there stands a monumental skyscraper. This is The Factory, where forced labourers toil emotionlessly. Mia, a rebellious worker, falls in love with Juri, who is scarcely aware of the outside world. One day, Mia finds a magical music box. When she turns the key, the tune awakens long-forgotten emotions and invites the workers to dance.
Mia and Juri head to the top floor of the building, where they discover a world of excess and decadence. On the roof, they have one last dance together, before being confronted by The Factory’s law enforcers, who are keen to quash any uprising.

Petja Pulkrabek *1985 in Hamburg; Studium an der Medienakademie Hamburg und der Film- und Theaterwissenschaften an der Freien Universität Berlin; seit 2014 führt er mit seiner Schwester Jana Pulkrabek die Produktionsfirma Manusarts GmbH für Film, Theater und Kultur.
