FILMFESTSPEZIAL berichtet von den sechs niedersächsischen Filmfestivals: Sehpferdchen Hannover, European Media Art Festival Osnabrück, Int. Filmfest Emden-Norderney, Int. Filmfest Oldenburg, Unabhängiges Filmfest Osnabrück, Int. Filmfest Braunschweig und 2016 erstmals von der Berlinale. FILMFESTSPEZIAL stellt die jeweiligen Festivals vor, bespricht aktuelle Arthouse-Filme, interviewt RegisseurInnen und SchauspielerInnen und blickt hinter die Kulissen. Moderatorin Clara Beutler hatte u. a. zu Gast: Sophie Rois, Fatih Akin, Karoline Herfurth, Philip Scheffner, Britta Thie, Jean Asselborn, Soleen Yusef, Brendan Gleeson und viele mehr. Ergänzend gibt es eine Sendung mit Preisträgern des FILMFESTSPEZIAL-Kurzfilmwettbewerbs. Insgesamt wurden über 50 Kurz- und Langfilme vorgestellt.

“FILMFESTSPEZIAL” reports on the six Lower Saxony film festivals: “Sehpferdchen Hannover”, European Media Art Festival in Osnabruck, Int. Film Festival Emden-Norderney, Int. Film Festival in Oldenburg, Independent Film Festival in Osnabruck, Int. Film Festival in Brunswick, and for the first time in 2016, also reports on the Berlinale. “FILMFESTSPEZIAL” presents each of these festivals, discusses current Arthouse films, interviews directors and actors, and takes a look behind the scenes. The TV presenter Clara Beutler hosted, among many others: Sophie Rois, Fatih Akin, Karoline Herfurth, Philip Scheffner, Britta Thie, Jean Asselborn, Soleen Yusef, Brendan Gleeson. The above is supplemented by a broadcast with prize-winners of the “FILMFESTSPEZIAL” short film competition. A total of over 50 short and full-length films were presented.
