NORDDEUTSCHLAND VON OBEN - so wie wir den Norden noch nicht gesehen haben. Beeindruckende Luftaufnahmen, aufgenommen mit Spezialkamera und Hubschrauber. Die Ostsee gibt sich ruhiger als die Nordsee, weiße Sandstrände säumen die Küste in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Im Binnenland große Seenplatten, auf deren Oberflächen sich die Sonne bricht. Dazwischen 2.000 Schlösser und Herrenhäuser, so viele wie nirgends sonst in Europa. Das Land ist flach, bis südöstlich von Hannover schroffe Felsen, Bergwiesen und Wälder das Bild komplett verändern -  der Harz. Im Westen das Weserbergland mit seinen sanften Hügeln und Fachwerkstädten entlang der Weser - auch das ist Norddeutschland.
 

North Germany seen from the air

“NORDDEUTSCHLAND VON OBEN” - as we have never seen the north before. Impressive aerial shots taken with a special camera mounted on a helicopter. Aerial images of coasts, lakes, moorlands, forests and river meadows lead us to people who love their North German homeland, keep up their traditions, protect nature and animals, and develop perspectives for the future.

The Baltic is calmer than the North Sea - white sandy beaches line the coast of Mecklenburg West-Pomerania. Inland, there are large expanses of lakes with the sun breaking on their surfaces. And in between, 2000 castles and manor houses - more than anywhere else in Europe. The land is flat as far as the southeast of Hanover, where jagged rocks, mountain pastures and forests change the picture completely - the Harz Mountains. To the west lies the Weser mountain region with its gentle hills and towns with half-timbered houses along the Weser River - this is North Germany too.
