The documentary “ARGENTINIEN - IM LAND DER GAUCHOS” reports on a wild and unspoilt stretch of land 1000 kilometres northwest of Buenos Aires: the Province of Corrientes with its impressive marshlands, the Esteros del Iberá.

The documentary portrays the hard work carried out by the Gauchos, their decade-old traditions, their social communities and their lives, essentially based on the values: nature and the animal kingdom, comradeship and frugality. In addition, we learn about the distinctive pride of the Gauchos, their love of horses, a passion for their very special kind of work and, of course, the extraordinary landscape in this part of Argentina.
