Franz und Greta lieben sich, auch wenn Moral und Konvention es ihnen verbieten, ihre Liebe auszuleben - denn sie sind Cousin und Cousine. Doch dann nimmt Gretas Verhalten eine überraschende Wendung. Sie wird autark und bricht aus Franz’ Vision aus, dessen Gefühle nun in einen Abgrund stürzen.

In der Tradition von Sujet und Form surrealistischer Filme der 20er-Jahre verschwimmen in FROLLEIN FRAPPÉ auf romantische und komische Weise die Grenzen von Traum und Wirklichkeit, von Begehren und Verzehren.

Franz and Greta love each other, even though morals and conventions don’t allow them to realise their love - for they are cousins. But then Greta’s behaviour takes a surprising turn. She becomes independent and breaks away from Franz’s vision. As a result, his feelings now plunge into an abyss.

Following the tradition of subject and form in surrealistic films of the 1920’s, in “FROLLEIN FRAPPÉ” the dividing lines between dream and reality, desire and yearning, become blurred in a romantic and comical way.
