Der polnische Regisseur Konrad Szolajski und seine Produzentin Małgorzata Prociak begeben sich auf einen Roadmovie-Trip durch Osteuropa, um in einem Dokumentarfilm-Thriller zu erforschen, wie der Kreml ehemalige Staaten der sowjetischen Einflusssphäre destabilisiert und versucht, unter seine Kontrolle zu bringen. Ihr Trip beginnt in Polen, mit einem der „größten Erfolge“ dieses hybriden Krieges, dem Sturz der damals liberalen Regierung 2015. Auf ihrem Weg durch die Tschechei und Bulgarien dokumentieren sie diverse Gift- und Bombenanschläge und betrachten schließlich die seit Beginn des Ukrainekrieges erfolgte Manipulation der Bevölkerung Osteuropas durch den Kreml.
Polish director Konrad Szolajski and his producer Małgorzata Prociak embark on a road trip through Eastern Europe to film a documentary thriller exploring how the Kremlin destabilises former states of the Soviet Union and tries to bring them under its control. Their trip begins in Poland, with one of the ‘greatest successes’ of this hybrid war, the fall of the then liberal government in 2015. On their way through Czechia and Bulgaria, they document various poison and bomb attacks and look at how the Kremlin has manipulated the population of Eastern Europe since the start of the war in Ukraine.
