HANNOVER SPIELT WEITER ist eine Hommage an das Spiel, das in diesem Kunstprojekt alltags- und stadtteilübergreifend ein Netz aus Leichtigkeit entwickelt. Von Fußball bis zum „Pas de Deux“ zwischen Mann und Frau, von alten Ballritualen bis zu Wasserspielen erwachsener Männer, von chinesischer Bewegungskunst bis zur Einlassung auf imaginäre Gesprächspartner: Fremde Menschen in einer Großstadt lernen einander kennen und - spielen.

Wie viel Interaktion und Kommunikation kann ein Gegenstand auslösen, der während der WM Thema Nr. 1 war, wenn er ein Jahr später - wie in einer Art Stadtprozession - seinen Weg antritt und neue Formen der Kommunikation spielerisch erschließt?

Hanover carries on playing

“Hanover carries on playing” is a tribute to the game which develops a network of everyday ease spanning between different town districts in this art project. From football to “Pas de Deux“ between man and woman, from traditional ball rituals to the water sports of adult men, from Chinese expressionist dance to engagement in conversation with imaginary partners: unacquainted people in a city getting to know each other and playing together.

How much interaction and communication can an object constituting the number one topic during the World Cup trigger off, when a year later - as in a sort of town procession - it sets off on its way and playfully opens up new forms of communication?
