Summary of presentation
Volkswagen has come a long way and aims to go further ahead. Our goal: offering attractive, safe and environmentally sound vehicles which set world standards in their respective classes. Experienced, highly motivated staff provides the basis for pioneering achievements – and our trainees are our future. We have to support them with the learning material they need. This is why we created GATSCAR. GATSCAR is a unique tool for apprentice mechatronic engineers. It is a serious game that makes automotive mechatronics come alive! Through the eyes of the central character Jack the user experiences a digital car workshop, a world of racing and friendship. By explaining turbochargers and transmissions interactively, GATSCAR easily combines gaming with learning.
