Carsten Fichtelmann is the co-founder and Managing Director of independent games developer and publisher Daedalic Entertainment and looks back on many years of experience as Marketing & Product Director in the games industry. He was employed at German publisher dtp entertainment as Director of Marketing and Product Management. Before joining dtp, Fichtelmann was Marketing Director at UFA Kinowerbung in Düsseldorf, Managing Director of Consultancy CF Media as well as Chief Editor of several trade publications.
Daedalic Entertainment, founded in 2007, has made a name for itself as a producer of unusual stories, unique visuals and strong gameplay with adventure games like "The Whispered World" and "Edna Bricht Aus", as well as with work on serious games on topics like illiteracy and culture clashes for a diverse array of partners. His studio Daedalic was named "Studio of the year" at the 2009 German Game Developer Awards.
