Carsten (36) runs Gameforge 4D GmbH since its establishment in January 2006 as daughter company of browser-games developer and publisher Gameforge in Karlsruhe, Germany.
Gameforge 4D is publishing third-party, client-based MMO(RPG)s across Europe. Currently, Gameforge 4D is offering 5 Koreans titles in up to 12 language versions. The Gameforge companies combined provide massive multi-player online games to an active customer-base of 16 million users p.m.
Previously Carsten founded an online games company in 1999, trade-selling it to ISP freenet.de; later being responsible for the European games’ activities of ISP Tiscali. In that role, Carsten brought the first commercially successful Korean MMORPG to Europe in 2002.
Carsten holds a first degree from WHU, Koblenz, Germany and an MBA from University of Lancaster, UK and CESMA, Groupe ESC Lyon.
