Térence is heading TM Consulting, a consultancy firm providing to music labels, book publishers, videogames developers and publishers strategic marketing, online marketing, and online distribution services.
Térence previously had an extensive experience in business strategy and marketing as Marketing Europe at Disney Interactive Studios, working on all Disney big releases, from The Chronicles of Narnia, Kingdhom Hearts to Desperate Housewives, Tron and Alias. He then worked for the french book publisher Gallimard, in developing their audiovisual and digital distribution. Most recently, he was in charge of Tom Clancy's titles strategic marketing at Ubisoft. TM Consulting is situated in Paris.
Summary of presentation:
How do publishers and developers position themselves in the move from a traditional distribution to an online distribution ? Those distribution changes have a key impact on financing the projects, how much can we relate to the traditional models, what are the alternative financing models, and how the risks can be mitigated ? But the impact is also on the marketing of the games, in terms of the online/offline communication and the involvement of the developer.
